WDW Favorites (updates 2014)

I love Disney and over the years have collected many FAVORITES at Walt Disney World! Always more getting added!
My Favorite WDW Disney Things
1. Visiting the Castle!

Favorite Rides
Space Mountain: I love sitting in the six-single seater spaceship and be sent into outer space. The ride is in complete darkness and has many hills and turns. The best place to sit is in front!MK
The Haunted Mansion: I feel this one grew on me over time. I once didn't like the ride, but going through it many times, I grew to like the characters and music. Now it's been updated and I enjoy the ghouls and ghosts even more then before! MK
Rock'n' Roller Coaster: This is a trip through Hollywood with Aerosmith music blasting behind you! It's dark and there are a few loops! The first time I went on this stretch limo roller coaster, I had an amazing time!  It's one you don't want to miss! DHS
The Great Movie Ride: I love the feeling of being part of a movie, and in this ride you get to live through some classics! I enjoy going through this ride every time! DHS
Test Track: I love being part of the automobile testing! You go through snake pin turns, you climb up hills and get to go top speed on the outside track! It's an awesome adventure! ET
Kilimanjaro Safaris: This ride you get to be part of an expedition through African savannah. I love seeing all the animals grazing right in front of me! It really makes you feel like your in the middle of African wildlife! AK
Expedition Everest: This is a roller coaster through Everest and you really need to watch out for the Yedi! There are tons of turns, drops and action around every corner on this mountain. It really keeps you on the edge of your seats! AK
Journey Into Imagination with Figment: I don't care how old I get...this ride will never get boring to me! I always come out singing the song and knowing all my senses! Plus I love Figment!:) ET
DINOSAUR: This is my stepsons favorite ride. He loves dinosaurs and enjoyed being in a time rover as we went back in time to see these creatures! He also loved getting his picture with all the dinosaurs outside the ride.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: A wonderful coaster that makes you feel you are really flying through a mine with the seven dwarfs. The ride is so smooth. Now the ride normally has a wait, but there are games to play while in line that are enjoyable. It's a most ride for the whole family!
Under the Sea - Journey with the Little Mermaid: If you love the Finding Nemo ride over at Epcot then you will love the adventure you will take with Ariel and her friends. I loved being part of my favorite childhood movie!
  

Favorite Dining Spots
50'sPrime Time Cafe: This cafe really brings you back to the 50s and your parents are the ones serving you dinner. Better eat all our vegetables because you could find yourself in trouble! The food is great too! DHS
Columbia Harbour House: The sea food is great here! the atmosphere is wonderful, that I have seen the Prince of England eating upstairs with friends and family...fish and chips no doubt! MK
Earl of Sandwich: Best subs around! The Price is great too! So if you are more into shopping at Downtwon Disney this is a great stop to get a bite to eat! DTD
Boma-Flavors of Africa: Great family buffet! My friend and I were the first to go in and they has African drums playing as we went in to our seats. It was amazing and the food was great!
Restaurantosaurus: When we are at AK we always find ourselves eating here! It's in a great location to some attractions and my step son loves the food! It's a win win! If you go in the morning you can eat with Donald, Mickey Goofy and Pluto!
Restaurant Marrakesh: This has Moroccan Food and belly dancing! I loved eating the food and watching a show at the same time. If you love an adventure and entertaining, this place to eat is for you! EET

Favorite Places to Shop
World of Disney: Everything and Anything Disney is in this store. In you have a Disney Visa you can also get a Discount here as well! The best time to shop in this store is in the morning for you will have it most to yourself! DTD
Emporium: This store is right on Main Street USA. After a day at the parks you can find just about everything you are looking for right in the store from Disney clothes to Disney mugs! MK
Pin Traders: I love Disney pins. When I go to Disney, I head to this shop for all the pins that are out at Disney. They have just about every pin that are Limited Edition pins, to box pins, to Mystery pins! DTD
Basin: I love bath salts and soups. Here they have tons of different soups and salts. There are some soups that are just for Disney World...when I went they have a Mickey soup and Minnie soup with their own scents!
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe: When you are traveling through Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom, this is a wonderful gift shop to check out. Makes you feel all Christmas-y no matter what time of year!


Character Dining
Princess Storybook Dining: For my Birthday I got my dream to eat with the princesses. I loved seeing Belle, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, and Snow White. It was a great dining experience and the food was wonderful. They all came right to my table and took pictures with us!
Chef Mickey: It's great not having to wait in line to see Mickey. Mickey and the gang join you for brunch at the Contemporary Resort. They dance and get everyone to join in with the fun. My family and I loved it!

Favorite Resorts (I have stayed in all of these):
Polynesian Resort: This is a beautiful resort. the flowers and trees were imported from Hawaii. The theme is so amazingly set up that it really makes you feel you are on a tropical island. I also love how you can walk on the beach and magic Kingdom is across the way!
Animal Kingdom Lodge: This is the closest resort to Animal Kingdom. I love how the animals are right next to your window when you get up in the morning. the lodge is so beautiful, all hand crafted work! I loved staying there with the animals!
Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa:This resort is just walking distance to Downtown Disney, plus there is a fairy boat that will take you from the resort to Downtown Disney as well. The resort is huge, lots of pools to pick from, the grounds around the area is so green and beautiful. It's a lovely resort!
Pop Century Resort: I just loved the fun pools and the choices of food stations at this resort. Each building has a character, I was in lady from Lady and the Tramp when I stayed! I loved the pool we had  for it was a bowling pin! It was fun and my step son Sam loved it too!
Coronado Springs Resort: This is a beautiful resort that has a walking path all away around it when a pond in the middle. The largest pool has a tunnel slide for kids! I loved the rooms and the atmosphere. This is where was plan to stay next time again.

Favorite Shows:
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show: What an adventure! I went to see this show with my husband on our honeymoon and loved it. I loved the dancing and music. They even had couples go up and dance which me and my husband did! The food was amazing too!
Fantasmic: I love the lights, the lasers, the music and the special effects in this show! It's Mickey battling all the Disney villains! So much action and wonder that you don't want to miss this show! DHS
Finding Nemo- The Musical: I just love this musical with all the characters coming to life right before your eyes. The singing, dancing and performance is amazing! Just make sure to get there early for it fills up fast and you will want a good seat! AK

Tours
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour: Get to learn about Walt Disney World, skip a few lines to the rides, see secret areas (I got to see the inside of one of their floats). They also give you a special gift at the end!

Events:
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party: An amazing Holiday celebration with Mickey and friends. There are magical shows, Once Upon a ChristmasTime Parade and complimentary holiday treats. Plus Jungle Cruise becomes Jingle Cruise! It's the most Wonderful Time of the Year!
