My family and I stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort this past spring. This was our first time staying there and we were excited. I wanted to stay someplace where we could use the skyline and CBR was the main resort to the skyline.
The views around the resort are amazing. There are small beaches that you can relax at if you want. You can see them in the pictures. There is an island in the middle that has a playground and also beaches to sit at which was relaxing.
Skyline was right there to jump on to get to two parks, Hollywood and Epcot. There is also more than one bus stop around the resort which is nice. We jumped on the bus that was near our building.
The kids were able to walk most of the way before needing a break and they were seven and nine at the time.
The food court was nice. The drink option was great for there was lots to pick from. My kids loved that! Wish they had more variety in food, but it was good for the choices. My kids had mac and cheese, nuggets each night. I had different sandwiches.
The only part that was a struggle is when our shower started running hot water. It wouldn't shut off and it wouldn't get colder. There was a lot of steam from the hotness of the water throughout the bathroom. I called service and within 30 minutes someone was at my room. It wasn't long before they told us that it couldn't be fixed and that we would have to switch rooms. We were given $200 back for having to move. It took us about an hour to get our stuff packed and into the other room down the hall.
We had stayed in an older room. This resort is upgrading their rooms so if you want a newer room, you will have to ask. Overall, I would stay at this resort again. It was pleasant. Kids loved the pool which had slides. The Skyline is right there to get to two of the parks. Staff was helpful and friendly. It was very clean. Even though our room was older, it was nice looking.
4.5/5
Here is a video of their older room from our trip that I had shared on YouTube.
